Modalis Infrastructure Partners Inc. is a group of companies and operating units, including, Modalis Quality Management Inc., Modalis Vertiports Inc.,  AirportIR, AirportCX, AirportTS, AirportSA, AirportQM, and Vertiports by Modalis (hereafter collectively called “Modalis Group”).

Purpose & Context 

Modalis Group recognises its corporate responsibilities with regards to an individual’s privacy and is committed to ensure that any of the private information that is collected or managed as part of our business is handled in full compliance of regulatory requirements. 

The Modalis group of companies are incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, and as such are regulated with regards to privacy under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). As such, Modalis Group is fully committed to follow each and every of the principles set-out by PIPEDA.

In addition, Modalis Group recognizes its obligations under both UK and EU GDPR regulations.

What data do we collect?

Modalis collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, work history, employer contact information, educational background, nationality, and languages spoken) when you register and submit that information on the Airport TS Portal (https://talent.modalis.ca) or by providing us with your Curriculum Vitae.
  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.), billing information, and payment information of the AirportIR website (https://airportIR.com)
  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.) when you email us requesting information.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Modalis Group with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online (AirportTS Portal and/or AirportIR) or place an order for any of our products or services.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
  • Voluntarily provide additional information in response to our queries

Modalis Group may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • LinkedIn profiles when you register on the AirportTS portal using your LinkedIn account for verification.

How will we use your data?

Modalis Group collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your order and manage your account.

o When Modalis Group processes your order, it may send your data to a third-party payment service, and also use the resulting information from credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

  • Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
  • To fulfill the function of AirportTS, namely, to find suitable employment positions for registrants

If you have specifically agreed through registration on the AirportTS portal, Modalis Group will share your data with our clients so that they may consider you for any suitable employment positions.

How do we store your data?

Modalis Group securely stores your data on a web-based server. Access to your data is not available without strong password authentication and only to those individuals within Modalis Group who require the information to fulfill their duties.

Modalis Group may collect, use, and retain data in support of client organizations in countries or regions outside of Canada, and subject to different personal data privacy requirements. Modalis Group is committed to ensuring that local data privacy regulations and requirements are fully met within the scope of the specific engagement under which they apply. As a minimum, Modalis Group will always meet the requirements of Canadian PIPEDA, UK GDPR and EU GDPR regulations. 

Our Company will keep your data until its purpose is expired, or for such period as may be allowed by law.

Marketing

Modalis Group would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, specifically AirportIR services and products.

If you agreed to receive marketing, you may opt out later.

You have the right at any time to stop Modalis Group from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other operating units within Modalis Group.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Modalis Group transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
